These tomatoes were extinct until MIgardener opened an 85 year old seed packet from a shadow box and grew them out over four years so we all could enjoy them. I purchased 5 seeds for $5 and grew them, so I could also help get them back out in the world by saving and sharing the seeds. I do have the 6 started plants I used for germination tests. I will ship those for $6 each plus shipping as well. Please message me on Etsy if you are interested.
The tomatoes are a mix between a paste and a slicer tomato, and they are not giant as the name states, but grocery store sized, I would say. The first ones had end rot, but I took them off and they gave a ton of perfect looking fruits. Not terribly acidic, really great for a quick tomato sauce. Very meaty with few seeds.
Definitely growing for years to come and I hope you do too!
